In an exclusive interview with This Morning, Caitlyn Jenner opened up about her current relationships within the Kardashian-Jenner family. While she maintains a close bond with her daughters Kylie and Kendall, her relationship with ex-wife Kris Jenner has evolved over time.
Gone are the days of direct communication between Caitlyn and Kris. Now, their interactions are limited to conversations through their managers. Caitlyn admitted, “When you have as many kids as I have, you’re closer to some than you are to others.”
Caitlyn and Kris were married for 24 years until their divorce in 2015. It was shortly after the divorce that Caitlyn publicly came out as transgender. Since then, their relationship has had its fair share of ups and downs. Caitlyn described the current state as “very sad.”
Looking back on their early days together, Caitlyn shared the story of how they first met on a blind date. At the time, she was turning 40 and struggling with her identity. However, the connection between them was undeniable, and just five and a half months later, they tied the knot. Together, they built an empire and faced numerous challenges along the way.
