Neil Patrick Harris shares the reason why he doesn’t want to know who his biological child is

This meant that the twins could be biologically either Harris’ or Burtka’s.

But Harris has now opened up about why it is important to him that he does not know which child is biologically his.

Harris is known for his various roles in Hollywood which include parts in television series and movies. His infamous role as Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother and his terrifying role in the mystery-thriller Gone Girl as the ex-boyfriend.

Neil Patrick Harris is also a vocal member of the LGBTQ+ rights. He often uses his position as a well-known actor to advocate for the cause. He is one of the first high-profile actors to start a family with his same-sex partner.

He made a comment about not wanting to know which twin was biologically his back in 2014 when the children were just 4 years old. And it is a comment he still wholly believes in today.

“I have no interest in [finding out]. We are their parents and I love them implicitly,” he shared.

“We inserted one of my s**** and one of David’s s**** into two eggs with the hope that they would both take, just because we both wanted to be dads biologically”.

“Both [of the eggs] took, miraculously,” Neil Patrick Harris said.

Recently, he has opened up about what it is like parenting teens.
