Travis Kelce has been in the headlines quite constantly because of his new romance with pop icon Taylor Swift. His family has also been thrust into the limelight, which they seem to be enjoying. While the Kelce family was popular already, the new heights of media attention due to Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift were something they had never experienced before.
It seems that the attention has also found its way to Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole. On Thursday, Nicole took to social media to address ‘haters’ who have been after her.
She posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), “I’m unproblematic. Mind my business. Never respond to the constant vitriol. Solid as they come & don’t expect a pat on the back for it either.”
She went on, “Just know everyone has a breaking point & would love for ‘yall’ (because you know exactly who you are) to leave me alone.”
The tweet came just a few hours after Taylor Swift released her highly anticipated 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.
Nicole and Kelce dated for quite a while, from 2017 to May 2022, when they called it quits. Once the relationship between Swift and Kelce became public in late 2023, it seems some fans of Swift took to flooding Nicole’s social media with GIFs and rude comments. She first took to her Instagram, talking about the “embarrassment” and “backlash” that has come her way.
