Elvis Presley’s Private Flight From 1962 Has Finally Been Sold – The Interior Is Amazing

Elvis Presley was famous for more than simply his incredible musical career and unique voice, which captivated audiences all over the world.

He also excelled in cooking and fashion (blue suede shoes, anyone?)

But some people might not be aware that the rock icon was also an expert in design. Think of the King of Rock’s renowned private plane as an illustration of this idea.

In 1962, Elvis Presley purchased his own aircraft and had it customized.

The carpet, wooden panels, and red velvet chairs alone give away how posh the space is.

The Lockheed Jetstar model airplane Elvis had for almost three decades was left unused after his passing in 1977. After then, it was placed as a tourist attraction on a road near Roswell, New Mexico, USA.

However, the jet was recently purchased by a telephone bidder who identified himself as an Elvis fan for $260,000 at an auction in Florida.

When the jet first broke through the clouds, both Elvis and his father, Vernon Presley, were on the aircraft.

Even after Elvis’ unexpected death more than three decades ago, the plane has stayed in the same place in New Mexico. You’ll notice that the plane’s exterior is painted a subdued red if you pay close attention. The aircraft is, nevertheless, in surprisingly good condition given its age.
