Former teen idol Leif Garrett’s life took a horrible downward spiral – this is him now

When Leif Garrett found success as an actor back in the day, he won the hearts of countless young people. Later, he changed his focus to music, becoming one of the most well-known young stars of his generation.

Garrett was just five years old when he made his on-screen debut in the sixth highest-grossing movie of 1969, Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice. But because of how well he performed, everyone anticipated a prosperous career for him.

After playing the character, the sleepy-eyed heartthrob was cast in Walking Tall and both of its sequels. He appeared in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Outsiders in 1983 alongside several other teenage sensations, such as Matt Dillon, C. Thomas Howell, Patrick Swayze, and Tom Cruise.

In addition to the others, Garrett appeared in the following series: Family, The Odd Couple (1974), Wonder Woman (1978), and CHiPs (1979).
